Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take for my order to be completed?
Our waiting list is typically 8-12 weeks, but your wait time will mainly depend on the scope of your project.
How much does a table cost?
Hmm, that depends. A number of factors go into consideration when quoting a table or any other project: dimensions, wood type and thickness, finishing style (stain, polyurethane, natural, sanded etc.,) leg type (metal, wood, style,) estimated project completion times, etc..
Do you want free wood?
Definitely. We generally take as much reclaimed barn board and other old wood that we can, however, the only catch is the wood must be of a certain length or we can't make any furniture out of it.
Will you buy wood from me?
Yup. If it's old, beautiful and big, we'll definitely give it a look.
Can I buy wood from you?
Yes. We sell wood to homeowners and businesses all the time. Prices vary on barn board type (e.g. brown vs grey board) and size/dimensions (floor boards and planks vs. beams and posts.)
Where do you source your wood from?
Barn board wholesalers throughout Southern Ontario, who tear down old barns, sheds, factories and homesteads across the province. We sometimes source wood locally in Simcoe and Dufferin counties, and often close to home in New Tecumseth
Do you offer delivery service?
Yes. Fees may apply based on distance and project type.
Do you make things out of new wood?
Yes. We generally work with recycled lumber but occasionally some projects need new wood to be structurally sound or clients want something with a more modern look. Regardless of wood type, we can make it.
Can I buy a table with custom metal legs?
Yes. We support local welders who build custom legs.
Do you tear down barns?
No, but, we have great relationships with wholesalers who tear down barns and we can put you in contact with them. In some cases they may even pay you to tear down your barn.
